What's the connection between these game components?

The connection is Waddingtons. The metal ship is a token from a 1950s Monopoly set; the race horse is from a 1940s Totopoly; the squat-looking man from a 1960s Spy Ring (see below for a copy of the game from the Retroactive Store); the candlestick from a 1970s Cluedo; and the distinctive pink and blue dice were standard issue in many Waddingtons games in the 1950s and early 1960s.
